A Non-Profit organization with an objective of promoting local artists in the Santa Clarita Community including Fine artists and Musicians, as well as other artists in the Performing Arts. It raises funds as well to foster Art enrichment Programs for the SCV Youth and SCV Senior Center, led by Brad Berens.

This coming March 14, the third annual Art and Music Gala “Love is in the Air” will be held at the at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom with local artists and musicians participating. There will be over 200 original artpieces on display, with a “live”artist demonstration

from outstanding fine artists led by Lorelle Miller, Laura Leifield. There will also be a People’s Choice Award portion and a Silent Auction

for Art and Non-Art items. A special highlight of the event is a Youth Art competition (4-12 years old artists), in commemoration of the Youth Art Month this coming March. Mission Renaissance is facilitating and managing this even. SCCG will handle the Judging with three esteemed Community Art leaders as Judges. These are Sandy Fischer, 2010 Art Commissioner and last year’s SCAA(Santa Clarita Artists Association), Jaylene Armstrong- Award-winning artist and past SCAA President, also Chairperson for the Scholarship Committee of the SCAA, and Jeff Barber, from the Arts and Events Department of the City of Santa Clarita.
